Important Notice

We want to alert you to a recent increase in phone scams targeting PowerNet members. Fraudsters are “spoofing” our phone number, which means the call may appear to come from PowerNet even when it’s not. These callers may claim to be from PowerNet and may try to pressure you into providing personal or account information.

Please remember: PowerNet will never call you and ask for your full Social Security number, debit or credit card number, CVC code, ZIP code, online banking username, or online banking password.

Never provide this information to anyone who calls you unexpectedly, even if the caller ID appears to show PowerNet’s phone number.

If you receive a suspicious call, or if you have any doubt that the call is truly from PowerNet, please hang up immediately and call us directly at 813-621-6454 or outside of normal business hours please call our Fraud Department at 1-888-918-7313 or call the number on back of your card. Do not call back using the number provided by the caller.

Protecting your account information is one of the best ways to prevent fraud. Once sensitive information is shared with a scammer, it may be difficult or impossible to recover funds or prevent unauthorized access.

Thank you for staying alert and helping us protect your accounts.
